Birds and blubberfest

Waiting for the winds to bring the wonder… and it’s shaping up nicely on the Shetlands. Up here with Neill “that garden looks mega” Hunt, Paul “Fladderbister” Thomason and Duncan “what do you mean there’s no time for lunch” Rothwell.

    4 x Bearded Tit – seen on the grit trays.
    3 x Marsh Tit
    2 x Raven
    1 x Water Rail
    1 x Kingfisher

    3 x Otter – from Public Hide
    1 x Red Deer – from Tim Jackson Hide
    1 x Weasel or Stoat, only showed very quickly before darting back into a bush.
    1 x Comma – A new butterfly for me.
    1 x Simon King!
